1. i think hotels are a little higher class. whereas motels are just a cheap place to sleep
2. usually a hotel has many levels and an indoor lobby. Usually nicer. A motel usually has no common hallway, you enter your room through the door which is outside. Usually a motel is cheaper. Motels remind me of a lesser quality place with a bed vibrating machine on the nightstand,, just insert a quarter. ICk check out a travel website and check prices in the town you are going to be visiting.
3. motels are nothing but road side hotels usually located in highways. the cost in motels depends on the distance from its location to the nearest town or city. but hotels are located in towns or cities. here costs depends on the standard or rating of that hotel
4. by definition, motels are usually accommodations where you can drive right up to the front of the room where you are staying. Cost is irrelevant. Depending on the class of the hotel or the level of service, hotels can either be cheaper or dearer. Hope this helps.
