Help me find cheap motels or accomodation near the university of toronto?

il be moving to Toronto soon to join the Uni of Toronto, Any ideas where i can find cheap motels below 40cds a night or single rooms below 400cds a month...Thanks in Advance

1. Forget the cheap motels. It's downtown, which means high hotel prices and no motels at all. Anyway, a cheap motel in even a small town in Canada would be $50 a night with no kitchen. I'll let someone more familiar with rental places in Toronto answer the rest. Doesn't the University have an accommodation list for students? Check the website.
