  1. Go to Google and they will give you reviews about it. In short it seems like a place cheap to stay and do the normal activities a person who is going to party will do......sleep when it can!! If you decide to spend most of the time there I guess is not a good idea although it seems like a very very cheap place and if you have travel a lot this may seem as a nice place to rest. I would recomend to travel with a guy friend since the outside and the neighborhood does not seem as nice. Good luck with the cheap find........I think you should look into Holidays Inn's they may have specials and don't tell them for what reason......sometimes they will give you a price depending on a fuction taking place on the area. I stay in Holidays Inn and don't tell them why, I always get better pricing when I don't tell them the reason even if it is for partying on a fun city like San Francisco, California, or Miami, Florida.
  2. Well for what it's worth. Austin is a far better town than San Antonio. "SAY TOWN" as they call it has only a few attractions like the River walk, Alamo, La Cantera, and River walk mall. Austin on the other hand has EVERYTHING. Buy a tour book. You will be blown away when you see Austin. "ATX" as they call it is the Live Music capitol of the world. The outskirts of Austin are breathtakingly beautifull! They have a farmers market there downtown. Austin is only a short drive away from "SAY TOWN". If you go in the summer make sure to stop at the "River" in San Marcos which is along the way. You can go for a swim and the water is very clean. Also check out the Prime/Tanger Outlet outdoor malls that San Marcos is so known for. Form there head to Austin and have a blast partying and checking out the interesting college kids who can be very sociable. OH and when you're in "ATX" make sure to check out the "Congress Bridge" in downtown when all the millions of Bats fly away from their nests under neath the bridge as soon as it gets dark. They are nocternal, they start searching for food as soon as the sun sets. Thousands of visitors/spectators are there each night watching this. And ATX is relatively safe. Safer than most TX cities. If you are strapped for Cash you can stay at the Hosteling International Youth Hostel near downtown ATX. $20 a night for a bunk bed. Not bad. I strongly suggest that you rent a car when you visit Texas so long as you didn't already have one with you.
