Should I Bring my Laptop on Vacation?

If you say yes, how could I keep it safe? We will be for the first half of our stay in hotels, and we will be renting a car, as well as going to attractions as Ellen show, universal studios, and other various attractions around LA. Our hotel is a Hampton Inn in Pasedena, so its not a run-down motel. Thanks!

1. Do you have any reason to USE the laptop? I would recommend leaving it at home and using hotel computers if you must. If you feel you need to bring it, I would recommend locking it into a room safe or getting a proper computer lock.
2. DONT EVER BRING A LAPTOP A CELLPHONE IS ALLRIGHT if u do keep it under lock and key
3. its a freaking VACATION, i dont even bring a phone with me. That said, where i live there is probably more of a chance of it being stolen out of my house while i am gone than out of a hotelroom. If you must bring it, leave it behind the desk at the hotel, or lock it in the trunk, and make sure that you back up everything you need on it just in case.
4. Its Vacation. Dont bring your laptop. if you need to use the internet spend 5 dollars at Kinkos and get online.. Otherwise enjoy the vacation and really get away from the internet.. :) Have fun
5. Leave the laptop home. You can't leave it in the car when you are traveling around. If it doesn't fit in the safe, it stays home. Even in a good hotel, you have to be careful. Have a great vacation s
6. i think not.u can easily access the internet anywhere and if u need it for transferring photoes then u can carry yr memory cards upto any limit, laptop will keep u feeling worried for its safety all the time.
