Where can I find cheap motels in the Austin TX area?

I waill be travaling on a road trip to the austin tx area and i need to find a cheap motel. Can sombody please help me

1. Cheap MFer, if you are going to take your woman to a hotel make sure its not CHEAP!
2. Try the Super 8, Motel 6, there is a Rodeway Inn on I35 just before MLK exit. Not too expensive.
3. Stay in Ferris about 20 miles south on a state highway that goes straight into the heart of Austin. About a 30 minute easy drive and the cost will be 1/3 of those in Austin, which is a VERY EXPENSIVE town.

5. Most of the cheaper stuff is located on I-45 coming into the city -- North Austin. Whenever I was moving around Texas I used InTown Suites. They have weekly rates. There is one on Lamar street and it is less than 5 years old.
