how old do u have to be to purchase a hotel or motel room?

I heard stuff like u had to be 21 or older with a credit card but can u be like 17 and pay cash or whats the deal?

2. In some places you have to be 18, others 21. It depends on where you go. If you are 17, more than likely you will have to go to a shady motel room.

Some (most likely against company rules) will allow you to pay in cash.
