I am looking for anyone who has first or second hand knowledge of the Days Inn in Mesquite, TX, specifically on the jacuzzi suites. Mainly I would like to know if the in room jacuzzi was in or outside the bathroom, whether it was big enough for two people comfortably, whether it worked properly, and overall whether the tub and room were at least reasonably clean. I stayed at the Days inn in Reno in February and just received a call tonight offering me 4 days and 3 nights at a Days Inn or other offiliated hotels anywhere in the US for 119 bucks. We have a year to decide and there are no black out dates. We also get a 100 buck voucher for their hotels in addition to. We bought it and will find out more when they email us the package but I was curious if anyone else had gotten this call. It sounds pretty good and they say that they can offer this because they haven't been advertising on the TV for the last year. Anyone had any experience with this call?

Days Inn Hotel? I've reserved a room at Days Inn on Church Street in Sparanburg SC April 20-22 I found out later that I've no need of the room and called to cancel. One day at LegoLand, one day at SD Zoo and two days of beach and being lazy. Anyone from the Tampa area know of the Days Inn on E. Busch blvd? I recently booked a trip to Tampa at Trip.com. I chose a package including hotel+car+flight. The hotel I chose seemed to be very nice until I started reading reviews. Should have done that first, I guess. I really do not want to change hotels as there can be quite a fee for this. However, if the hotel is as bad as I have read I will. Some reviews say not bad but many say it is horrible. I can deal with a bad area and even some issues with structure. What I cannot deal with is roaches! Especially for 10 days! Please, anyone from the Tampa area that knows of the Days Inn on E. Busch , located by the West entrance to Busch Gardens......ease my mind!!!

Has anyone else had trouble with overcharging or false charges on their credit card with Days Inn Motels? During a rushed trip to Florida for a funeral, I made reservations for four nights at a Days Inn. I was given incorrect information for the location of the services and discovered it during my drive from Ohio. I called to cancel the reservation about 18 hours later (4:00 PM on the day of the scheduled arrival) and ended up talking to the manager who insisted on charging me for not cancelling more than 24 hours before arrival. As it turned out it was too late to cancel before I even made the reservations. The hotel wasn't sold out and they didn't refuse anyone because of our reservation. After all of this I was charged for TWO nights at $125.00 per night when we didn't stay there at all. I have registered complaints with the Days Inn and contested the charge with American Express but the hotel hasn't contacted me. What is the best way to contest the charge? Supposedly the reservation conversation was recorded but they won't respond.
