Priceline?????? Hotels? has anyone done priceline.com done hotels? if so did you get a good deal? And does it give you a selection of hotels to choose from?
Dont use priceline for hotels because if you have a problem they will not refund your money and won't help you I recently booked thru Priceline, they lied online, the Hotel I stayed was not even a 1 star and they said it was more, I had to book at another hotel and lost all my money, priceline will not refund you and will not help you, they promise they will get back to you and that never happens, this company advertises false information online, when they tell you the hotel is a 3 star, it's because it's really one or none, bad service and would not recommend anyone to use this company.
How good is Priceline.com in booking hotels? I'm planning a summer vacation and haven't booked my hotel room yet. I've never used "Priceline.com" and would like to know how good of a hotel room I can expect to get and if there is really a substantial discount when you use the website. I'd like to put in for a 4-star hotel, but not sure how low of a price I should name. Anyone have advice or suggestions?
Using Priceline for hotels? I am planning a trip to the French Quarter and hotels are expensive! The ones that are in my price range don't have very good reviews. I was thinking of using Priceline to name my own price for a 4 star hotel (most 3 star and below don't have the best reviews). What advise can you give me in naming my own price? Most 4 star hotels average $179-$250 a night. A friend told me to "bid" at least 80% of the listed prices. The French Quarter is in New Orleans, LA
Priceline for Hotels? Has anyone ever used Priceline for hotels? What type of hotel did you get using the name your own price program and were you happy with it? I'm trying to find a good deal for a week long stay in Seattle and thinking about using priceline but would love to hear some feedback. Thanks

Is it worth buying the priceline Hotel Cancellation insurance? I am planning a trip to chicago with the name your own price feature. I will be spending in the neiborhood of 480-640 for a hotel for 8 days. If the amount is 500 or over, should I consider the $40 travel cancellation/interruption insurance? If I don't, I think I am stuck if I have to cancel for illness. Of course it is a vacation, so I would still go unless I had something devistating.
Priceline.com, anyone know how to use a UK or foreign addressed credit card to book hotels + car rental? I have had a priceline account for years using a USA address and debit card. Priceline sent me an email telling me that I could use a UK or foreign credit card with UK address to book car rental and hotels in the USA but not flights. Every time I try and pay it only comes up with the USA address field boxes so can't select UK or postcodes so it just says please use a valid USA Zip code. I have spoken with Priceline.com staff but they have no clue. Anyone had this issue and know how to fix it? Thanks in advance for any helpful advice
Is bidding for a hotel on priceline worth it? I am planning on going to Las Vegas April 17 and returning April 20 and I am currently looking for a good. Is priceline worth using, I know you can't pick the hotel, is 150 a night an ok price to use to get a good 4 star hotel? Or even a 100 a night for a good 4 star hotel?
Difference between priceline.com and hotels.com?..Hotel age limit..? I already know that for some hotels you have to be 21+ to get a room and for others you can be 18+ to get a room. My question is, what is the difference between Priceline.com and Hotels.com?...I want to book a vacation package on Priceline cause it is cheaper but it says you have to be 21+ in order to get the package. Then when I go on to Hotels.com and book a vacation package, they say you can be 18+ to get the package. (?????) I don't get that. Same hotel but maybe different flight times and stuff, but still same hotel. I even called the hotel and they say you have to be 21+ to get a room but on Hotels.com it said you can be 18+ to get the room.....I'm so confuse...SOMEONE HELP ME!! :'(
What hotels do priceline.com and hotwire.com use? Do they only use the hotels listed when you do a search or do they have "mystery hotels" (not list on the site) that they only use for people trying to get the lowest rate? Anyone try to get the cheapest rate, what was it name brand or mom & pop?
I want to ask about using Priceline for booking Hotels...? I'm sure this gets asked a lot, but it's my first time booking a hotel and I'm just slightly paranoid. Anyways, I already have a specific hotel in mind and according to their site the complete total will be roughly $800, including taxes & fees. Are there any other additional fees I should know about? (Such as Priceline charging me for their services or the hotel charging me for who knows what else.) I just want to be ready with the exact amount upon arrival or is the $800 really all that I'll have to pay?
Has anyone had to cancel a hotel reservation from Priceline because of bad weather? I put in a bid over a month ago through Priceline for a four night stay in San Diego which was accepted. I was happy with the hotel and location but the problem is that it will be raining in San Diego for the whole duration of my trip. The parks that was planning to visit might even be closed. What should I do? I'm visiting April 6th through the 10th.
What is the lowest price you ever won on a hotel room on Priceline? I absolutely love bidding on Priceline...I'm starting to think of it as a hobby. Cheap 4-star rooms...can't go wrong! I've gotten a 4 star room at the Hilton in downtown Houston for $60. Nicest hotel I've ever stayed in! On my latest trip to Pensacola, Florida 2 star hotel with full kitchen for $30. Whats the cheapest rate you have ever got on a room? What city?
What if a Hotel decides not to honor priceline when you get there? I read a review of the Super-8 in Williams,AZ that by someone that said they had made a reservation using Priceline. When they got there the manager refused to honor the priceline price and charged them a lot more. What if this happens? Are you screwed? Is there a way to use Priceline and make sure the Hotel will accept the price before booking?
Does PriceLine really help get good deals? I'm going to Vegas next week from Sunday through Thursday next week. I would like to get a great deal on a good hotel. I heard that people were bidding at $99 and getting rooms at the vanecian. Is that true? Are there forums where people post their results of the PriceLine bids on hotels? I'm thinking of a place like the Vanecian, the Winn, The Marag, the Bellagio, or other hotels like that.

I am taking my son next week and I am trying to figure out if I want to stay the night before or the night of going to Cedar Point- Prices seem to be everywhere and some hotels seem to have very scary reviews- But I don't want to spend over $75 for the night and I want a pool for my son- any suggestions?

Where can I find a website that searches for discount hotels just for San Antonio, TX? I know about priceline, hotels.com, ect. I just thought it might be a "REAL" discount site. There was one I knew about last year but I don't remember it. No, I'm looking for expensive suites for discount prices. I know sasave.com, that was the website that I forgot that I used last year, If you know any other websites please let me know. Thanks
what are some trusted websites to use to book hotels in poland (konin) ? the major sites: hotels.com, priceline, priceline-europe, orbitz, etc don't offer booking options for hotels in konin. i've found one that does, but it just looks a little fishy. does anyone know of any reliable websites for online booking? i know i could just call teh hotel myself, but i'd MUCH rather do it online.
Is it better to name my own price (Priceline) on a hotel now or wait a month? My trip is in October. I put $20 for an airport room and was turned down. Should I wait til right before my trip for a better deal? I already have plane tickets and destination hotel reservations...I just need an airport hotel for the day before the flight. I have a 6 am departure and live 3 hours from the airport.
Best way to name your own price on Priceline??? I have used Priceline several times but usually do it several weeks in advance... Do you find better deals on priceline at the last min or a few weeks before travel? I am planning a trip to Honolulu at the end of Aug and just wondering when I would get the best deal on a 4 star hotel while bidding on Priceline. Thanks, C
Has anyone used Priceline.com name your own price for hotel rooms? I'm planning a trip to Italy and am thinking about trying priceline.com for the hotel rooms but am a little unsure about it. If anyone has any advice or stories(good or bad) about using it please share. I don't want to be ripped off or stuck in a horrible hotel room. Thanks!
