I just rented a motel room in Hackensack NJ? The problem? No water. It was OK when I moved in 2 hours ago, but now when I turn it on in the bathroom, barely a trickle. Looking for a sample wedding location contract? We are going to have our reception on the lawn of a motel/marina on the water that normally does not host parties. Need advice on how to improve grades, Problem: im poor and have family problems? yea so, my grades have been slipping ever since the second half of the eighth grade (I used to be an honors all A's student) but my one of my parents lost their jobs and so we had to leave our home and were put on to the street. We were homeless untill we found a cramped motel to live in(i have a large family). We soon were kicked out of there and had to stay with another family, which was terribly embarrassing. All the while my grades in math slipped and inhibited me from being put into honors math in 9th grade. We stayed there for a month or so and they kicked us out and then we found another motel to live in which turned out to be another horrible experience. Ninth grade started and my mother moved out of the motel (it was basically a divorce but it isnt final) and i havent seen her since. I pleaded with my teachers to let me into honors math but i was rejected because of my bad grade that year. Now i dont really care about school as much and have been horribly depressed.

Are you from a state that never heard about the devastating ice/blizzard storms that hit Iowa recently? I called my sis in Tx. 3 days into what turned out to be power outages in thousands of homes,closed interstate 80 and took down high lines like broken matchsticks and she said there was nothing in the Dallas newspaper or on tv about it! We went to a motel 20 miles form here and just barely got a room in time before they filled up. 1500 volunteers from several states including Ga. andKentucky came to help get power up but many areas without it for 12 days and some still don't have it. Nursing Home here blew out their only generator when they got it installed after 4 days without power to some parts of the Home!Trees down all over the N. half of the state and they too took out power lines. I cannot believe this was not in national news. Did your state report it at least to a modest degree! One thing about it, it really brings out the good in people you don't even know. Some took all our meat to their generater powered house til we returned.

"oh well a pretty girl like yourself can make some money on the side going on dates and stuff." this is when i drove off.. WHAT?!? i don't ever think that i will become crazy but it interest me. Parenting 102 Second Class. Custody help or suggestions? I have custody of my two children from a dissolved marriage. My problem is personal where I get disturbed very easily by what I hear is going on. You see, how much do I have a right to complain, or should I take steps if I feel uncomfortable with what is going on at their mother's place? My main concerns being: 1. She is inconsistent in visitation, and backs out 3-4 times a month. She is supposed to visit overnight with them 2-3 times a week. 2. Her current boyfriend drinks moderately. I rely on the 70 mph interstate speeds to get me to the beaches faster and to get to Tampa, FL without stopping for a motel. I rely on 65 mph to get to Downtown Raleigh in half an hour and to get past Richmond, VA faster. I heard she wants to drop speed limits to save gas and reduce auto accidents related to speed. They seem like good reasons, but it would not be popular due to some of these interstate highways are built for speed. It would take over a week to get to Los Angeles from Charlotte by car if that happened. I like the speeds the way they are. I can get to my old home in Clearwater, FL from my home near Raleigh, NC without stopping for a motel.

Have you ever been judged by your appearance? I am currently interior designing a multi-million dollar motel, and normally I wear business attire when seeking out suppliers. When at home I dress in my comfy clothes (track-suit pants and t-shirt) when one afternoon I ducked out to a potiential supplier (with only a half an hour before they closed - so didn't have time to change) to check on something and take some photos. Because of the way I was dressed, I was ignored, and frowned upon for taking the photos. The next day when I went back (dressed in my normal attire) 3 or 4 assistants came up to me and asked if I needed help, and when I told them what I was needing the photographs for, they couldn't have been more helpful. I felt a little like Julia Roberts in 'Pretty Woman'!! Has anyone else been pre-judged because of their appearance?

Have you ever caused damage to your house plumbing because of it being clogged? by pouring massive amounts of drain cleaner or by using something like a coat hanger? My better half poured grease then shoved leftovers down the disposal, added some more grease and whalla... every drain in the house overflowed. Final cost was @ $1200,00.00 for repairs, not to mention we had to go to a motel because of toxic fumes for 4 days. Be honest and tell if you've done something similar.
